When a video of a rider punching his horse on the parade route was posted on social media the public's disgust and outcry for justice was swift and widespread. The LASPCA began an investigation and based on the video evidence seized the horse. The defendant has plead guilty to animal cruelty and abuse charges, however the judge could decide to allow the defendant to post bond for the horse and reimburse the LASPCA for the horse's care then possibly order them to return the horse to the defendant. We must not let this horse go back to the abusive owner. The LASPCA has received many calls from people wanting to adopt this sweet horse. No horse deserves the cruel treatment this horse endured at the hands of his owner. It was cruelty and abuse at its worst. Please sign this petition asking Judge Paul Sens Of New Orleans Municipal Court (Division A) to please NOT return the horse to his abusive owner but instead allow the LASPCA to place him in a loving, safe home.
