My 13 year old son whom has autism was assaulted by two boys at his school he reported it to his teacher whom could see was very distressed but the teacher dismissed him and never thought to contacting myself my son traveled home on the bus which picks him up and brings him home from his base ..he was inconsolable as we tryed to understand what had happened to him .. he has been assaulted and called a retard had water thrown at him and pushed to the ground by the two boys kai hit one of the boys in self defence ... the police were called and came the next morning it was passed on to the campus cop whom met me st school they took statements from kai and the two bully's and two Off laid friends who were with him ....to cut a long story short one off the bully changed his story to kai punched him 3 times not 1 to he didn't know if he was hit with a bottle... because the two bully's and Kais story were different we were told the parents off the bully's could charge kai but we couldn't charge them as none off the witnesses story's matched up .... the bully's win again then we were told mayby kai would be better in a unit that could meet his needs .. my son is highly intelegent and any one who knows him knows what a beautiful kind hearted polite respectful boy he is and never been in trouble at school teachers say he is a perfect pupil yet some campus cop allows kai to here a conversation on being charged / moved school and his friends lied ... my boy was a mess he said he wanted to die he didn't trust the school the police and had no friends why could ppl hurt him so much he asked why did they want to hurt him he didn't want to be Lonley he wanted to die ... schools must do more to protect victims they need to listen before more kids take their own life's .... the bully's were not even punished or told they were wrong I have took it into my own hands to get justice for kai
