Noel Fitzpatrick, of Fitzpatrick Referrals (veterinary practice) in Surrey; and currently the subject of Channel 4's 'Supervet' TV docu-series, is long over-due a knighthood for his unwavering compassion and dedication to saving animals and giving them a new lease of life.  He has pioneered numerous veterinary procedures, many of  which of his 'World Firsts' have been successfully performed in humans too.

Noel has been given the moniker 'The Bionic Vet' due to Noel and his team quite literally 'rebuilding' animals to enable them to  have renewed energy and mobility. Oscar was the world's first 'Bionic Cat' and it was Noel and his team that performed the revolutionary operation to add prosthetic feet to enable Oscar to walk again.

Fitzpatrick Referrals opened in 2008 and is the most advanced small animal clinic in the UK.   Noel takes special pride in choosing his work colleagues "for their willingness to open their hearts to the unassailable truth that the veterinary profession are the guardian angels of the unconditional love that exists between an animal and the guardian of that animal", stating that "Our ethical, moral and emotional core should be entirely vested in the compassion necessary to every day in every way care desperately that we are doing the right thing for every animal entrusted to our care and for every animal guardian who looks us in the eye and trusts us to look after their friend".

Noel's dedication, passion and sincerity of love and care towards animals is no secret, anyone who previously viewed the BBC  TV series 'The Bionic Vet' and who is currently viewing Channel 4's TV series 'Supervet' will have been awe in the medical marvels Noel and his team have successfully performed, and no doubt shed many tears too, especially seeing Noel's colleagues as well as Noel himself showing genuine heartfelt emotions.
