Make Service Providers Like clickmechanic, Uber & Similar Companies RESPONSIBLE

In August 2017 my one & only work van for my small window & drive cleaning business had fuel pump failure FORTUNATELY on my drive. After searching for a considerable time online for a mobile mechanic I contacted clickmechanic.com. I sourced a low cost pump from ebay & asked clickmechanic to install it. it was promptly done. clickmechanic had their money & I was told the pump was faulty. Neither the ebay seller NOR clickmechanics sourced mechanics admitted fault for the pump, each blaming each other. Clickmechanic agreed to removal of the pump at no extra charge and as a 'goodwill' gesture. I obtained another mechanic to obtain & fit a pump. The mechanic said he could not do the work due to engine damage caused by the previous mechanics. He compiled a report at my request & it was forwarded to clickmechanic, com. Clickmechanic agreed damage was caused by the mechanics THEY sourced. They are aware I have lost earnings far in excess of the £1000 I have requested to repair my engine to the state it can HAVE a pump fitted & to pay my chosen mechanic to sort it out. They INSIST it is the fault of THEIR sourced mechanics.
If a company advertises a service that company should be RESPONSIBLE for damage to customer's property. Clickmechanic, com boast a 97% success rate. I therefore call upon the Government to make businesses which act as a service contact provider & who MAKE MONEY from it to BE RESPONSIBLE for sorting out problems RESULTING from the SERVICE they obtain for their customers & that THEY themselves sort problems out with those services & not leave it to their customers
