We would like to reach out to our community to sign this petition. EC Blair is seeking a reduction on his bond. He is currently facing capital murder charges for the murder of Leah Donnice Martin.
Leah went missing on May 29, 2015 at around 9:00-9:30 pm from Graham, TX. She went to her work place, EC's Auto Shop. That was the last time she was seen alive. There are three men in jail: Ross Hellams, Elton Blair, & Billy Ray Minkley. If you would like more information on this case look it up on the Graham Leader or Times Recod News newspapers. Billy Minkley JR, whom also confessed to a triple homicide in Ft. Worth, TX, just one year before. Minkley and Hellams are not seeking a bond reduction hearing at this time because they do not have the money for that. All of their bonds are One Million Dollars to 1.25 Million Dollars. They buried her in a shallow, makeshift grave dug by Minkley. She was found almost 3 months after she went missing. Leah was only 22 years old when she was murdered, she had a birthday while family and friends were searching for her. She was also the mother of EC's granddaughter. She will never get to see her daughter grow up.

The community of Graham would like to come together and voice our concern about a reduced bond for Elton Blair (EC Blair). We believe he will be a flight risk, as well as a endangerment to our community. We have seen a character change in Blair over the past 6-8 months and do not believe he will act appropriatly out on bond. We believe that the Judge will take into account all of our concerns. Their goal is to keep the Graham community safe. The Martin family deserves peace of mind and we believe that keeping him detained for the time being will allow that.
