Ban Allstate Auto Insurance Refusal to Pay Claims

Coming up on the two year deadline on an auto accident claim. Allstate told me they assumed all liability in the beginning when their customer rear-ended me. I was at a complete stop at a red light. I was taken to the ER by ambulance, had a CT scan, treated and released for follow-up and further treatment with my own doc. Now that the deadline is looming, Allstate is demanding all kinds of documents they have had two years to request. They are refusing to pay the almost $6,000 in medical expense incurred the day the accident happened. They have told me I am not worth the hourly amount I was being paid at the time and are offering me less for my time. Furthermore, they are claiming that my paid time off somehow belonged to them and not to me. They hae been rude, insulting, mulish, demanding, arrogant, and much more. I have filed many complaints to try to get them to just pay the claim and settle this issue. Anyone who has any dealings with Allstate Auto Insurance needs to beware. Anyone considering this company needs to ban them from their consideration. The rest of us need to demand our rights and force insurance commissioners to make these people pay. The point of insurance is not supposed to be solely to make profits in the thousands percentiles, it is to pay when an accident occurs. We need insurance reform in this country more than anything else. Just look at the sorry state of this business and weep.
