In the UK Terriers seem to be the dogs most at risk for being put to sleep. Owners of these breeds know what loving ,loyal and intelligent and highly trainable these dogs are.Why are these dogs being made scape goats just because of the type of dog they are. Isn't it fair to say they are all individual, like people are all individual? If like myself you are sick of seeing this breed euthanised just because of the type of breed they are then please sign my petition. These dogs deserve a right to life. Just because one or two may be vicious due to being mistreated , it doesn't mean they are all the same.They most definietly do not deserve to lose their lives. There are many bad people in the world, we dont euthanise them, do we?
Let's stop this now.It isn't right,it isn't humane and it resolves nothing.Its a vicious circle.There aren't only terriers that can turn if mistreated, whether breeds or cross breeds, they are all capable of turning nasty if badly treated.Maybe now is the time to look more at human behaviour, more than animals.
