LGBT members are humans as well, they have feelings too, so who gives people the right to discriminate them?
I'm sure you have heard of Aloysius' (@/ahloyyyyyy on instagram) case recently, he was bullied for being gay and he hung himself on the night of his birthday as a result, he was only 16 and has a whole future ahead of him. It breaks my heart to see people being bullied because of their sexual orientation, its not like its their choice, why can't people just let them be? How many more deaths until people realize the seriousness of bullying??
I can't fathom why some people cringe when they heard of the term "LGBT", screw your outdated mindsets, people are free to do whatever they want unless they bring harm to others (but LGBT CLEARLY doesn't), come on this is the 21st century already!
What’s more LGBT members are the nicest people around and they do not deserve to get discriminated by anyone!
Why can't people understand that love can happen between people of the same gender? Love should not be restricted to a man and a woman, love is love and nothing should get in the way.
Just take a look at Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka or Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, they are happily married! Why must the Singapore government stand in the way of love just because they claimed we are "a conservative country"? Have the government even make the effort to conduct a survey on the streets whether people are receptive towards same sex marriages? NO.
Section 377A of the Penal Code should be abolished, period.
