The Federal Animal Welfare Bureau

Whereas, animals in this country are constantly subject to neglect, abuse, slaughter, and extinction,

and Whereas the Federal Government must take action to solve these problems,

We the undersigned therefore humbly request that an agency within the Department of the Interior be established to help protect the safety and welfare of all American animals, wild and domesticated.
