Demand That The Killer Of A 14-Year-Old's Therapy Dog Be Brought To Justice

Ross B. has been charged by the municipal government of Kansas City, Missouri, for violating city bylaws after killing his neighbor’s autism service dog. He told police the dog was running around his front yard, acting aggressive toward him, so he went into his house and got his handgun. He then went back outside and fired one shot, hitting the dog, police say.

What could Tobee have done to make this neighbor take such drastic action? The cute Chow mix had simply wandered into the neighbor's yard; the neighbor objected, so he went into his house, got his gun, came back out and shot Tobee.

Hannah's grandfather heard a shot around 8 a.m., and when the family realized their dog was missing, they rushed outside and found the animal under a tree in the neighbor's yard, covered by a sheet but still alive and gasping for air. The family rushed the dog to a vet, but it was too late. Doctors were unable to save the family pet, and he was euthanized later that day.

Tobee was the therapy dog of Hannah Guzman, a 14-year-old who suffers from autism. Her dog was her best friend.

Please ensure that Ross B. receives adequate punishment for the murder of his neighbor's therapy dog.
