Caylee's Law

Caylee's Law would give clear guidelines on stiff criminal penalties for failing to notify authorities of the death of a child or missing child, in a normal timely manner.  The law would also prevent the defendant from profiting in any manner in relation to any charges placed upon them in regards to the child's death.

This petition is to bring awareness that there should be stricter laws in place where a parent or guardian who has failed to report a child missing, or a child's injury that resulted in death, or a child's death, would be with a felony.

That any parent or guardian who is charged in any manner however minor in relation to the above offense cannot profit in any manner in relation to the above crime.

We need to bring it to the attention of our state officials. Some states already have laws in place that stipulated failing to notify. Caylee's Law will be clearly defined in relation to minors.
