Stopping the Underground Mining of Lebanon Church Cemetery

American Coal has made a deal with Lebanon Church in Galatia, IL. They are allowing the mines to dig a hole and go underneath and mine the cemetery. In return the church is getting a whole new makeover, including a new foundation, fellowship hall, and their basement redone. They also will be receiving some extra cash to go in the funds for mowing expenses. The representative from the Coal Mines has informed us that we have a 50/50 chance by the time we are done that the ground could cave in. Memorial Day is coming up and every single monument that stood up is now laid down, which was done by the coal mines to try to "protect" them but yet we have several that got broke in this process. American Coal are saying that they are going to repair the damages. Under the "Cemetery Protection Act", this is actually legal, as long as whoever owns the property signs off on the deal there is no legal action I can take until its too late and theres damage that doesn't get fixed. This church only has about 20 members and approximately 6 members on the board, they voted and signed off on this deal. They are willing to take that 50/50 chance on the ground caving on a cemetery in return for a new church and extra money. In approximately 5 days, they will start digging the hole. I am asking for all the help I can get on finding a way of stopping them.
