Dear Target,
I've been a devotee of your store for years and regularly take my daughter there for our weekly food shopping, along with picking up clothes, household items, and other needs for our home. On a recent visit, I noticed you're no longer selling the salad dressings, mayo, and cookie dough from Hampton Creek. I'm really disappointed because we are big fans of those products. I'm trying to help my family eat healthier and more sustainably, so these are such easy gateway foods to steer us in a good direction. I'm also appreciative of Hampton Creek for caring about families like mine who don't have the resources to buy high end products. I went online and read that you removed their products because of some anonymous complaint, yet the FDA says there's nothing wrong. What gives? Were you given more money by a Hampton Creek competitor to drop them?
This seems just wrong - not just to their company but more importantly to moms who shop at Target and have been loyal to their brand. This isn't about some product tasting better than another. It's about taking away choices that we feel represent our values and goals of our families. Please, bring back Hampton Creek products.
