Urge the Government to put an Indigenous Site older than the Pyramids back on the Heritage Register

An Indigenous site 'older than pyramids' has been taken off the Heritage Register, according to a report in The Guardian.

The government reversed its previous opposition to a proposed freeway which will overlap the site.

The site is on the banks of Bibra lake and under the path of the proposed Roe 8 freeway extension.

In the 1970's an archaeological survey found the Bibra lake north site contained more than 2,000 artefacts.

Indigenous heritage sites should be protected. Will you join me in urging the Australian Government to put the Bibra lake north site back on the Heritage Register and find another site for the freeway?
