Pastor Doris J. Thompson founder/pastor of Christ Is The Answer Fellowship Church located on 8866 S. Vermont Ave. LA, CA. 90044 in the heart of South Central has been disturbed by the terrible illegal hazardous dumping that's been going on for over 20 years in that particular area where businesses, homeowners, renters, and Christ Is The Answer resides.Pastor Thompson & staff have the heart & concern for everyone that's affected by this hazardous dumping. The church staff has spoken with the business owners and neighbors in the area and they are disgusted & appalled as well. All who has been forementioned enter onto the premises by way of the alley. Every week the entrance is blocked by debris, old furniture sets, dinnette sets, dressers, kingsize/singlesize matresses, metal, toliets, old carpet, bricks, debris from gutted homes and/or apts, stacks of tires etc. Pastor Thompson has made numerous calls, along with members & staff to the city regarding this matter, asking the city to send the necessary people to come and clear our alley way but to no avail. We've been told someone would come out & it would take weeks in the beginning. Now it's due to budget cuts & they don't show up. All this stuff blocks the entrances & exits. It's a fire & safety hazard. Cars have been damaged, flat tires, etc. We've sent pictures, met with a representative & still no results. We desperately need your support to get this situation resolved soon. We need people who CARE2. Thank You
