Dear Theresa May.
I am writing to you today on behalf of all your countries people who are suffering at the hands of your governments decision on the changes to the disability living allowance, to inform you that because of the degrading and often wrongly written and submitted assessment reports, VULNERABLE disabled people are losing their benefits. Your disabled people are losing benefits that enable them to live with in a normal society.. The changes have taken away their rights to try and live a normal life. you are allowing your people to become homeless and some are even committing suicide.
The changes from DLA to PIP. have caused substantial harm. PIP assessors are not medically trained in diagnosis of debilitating Serious Diseases and medical condition's, but are in fact, some times trained nurses. who are asked to complete a form on how life is affected by the disabled person.
We would there fore like to ask Theresa May. why she has approved this kind of assessment. when specialists have full records of their patients, and are fully trained in their field of medical practice.
We put it to you Theresa May that you are cutting corners and trying to force disabled people to work. while you and your MPs are giving your self raises and bonuses, real disabled people are suffering and dying.
