Demand FDA & Pharma Companies Provide Warnings on Serotonin Syndrome on All Products That Cause It

Dear Sir/Madam,  Serotonin syndrome is a fatal reaction to commonly prescribed drugs and OTC items. The problem is that there is a complete lack of awareness given to patients and the public by doctors, drug manufacturers and the FDA. Considering the severity of this allergy, the public deserves to be warned and educated on serotonin syndrome in order to prevent losses.  Keeping in mind that these medications are prescribed so frequently, we demand widespread awareness of serotonin syndrome so patients do not get hurt. Your companies are aware of serotonin syndrome, but rather than do their due diligence, you keep this information quiet. This is costing lives and causing injuries. The solution is that you MUST PROVIDE LABELS on ALL products that might cause serotonin syndrome. These labels MUST provide information, symptoms and resources for the public at your expense. The CDC MUST spread awareness of this condition. Hospitals and doctors must be held accountable for dispensing these drugs responsibly.  We demand that doctors explicitly explain the risks associated with taking medications that might cause serotonin syndrome, at length, with every patient they prescribe them to. We hold them responsible for neglecting the needs of patients over profits. We are prepared to propose medical mandates in order to fullfill this obligation. Sincerely,  Enclosed petition signers
