More financial institutions should allow for a non paywave Visa Debit for security reasons

Hey,

I cannot believe that anyone would actually click to read this submission but if so....

My paywave must have got skimmed somewhere so I got my card cancelled and got a new card. My bank (CUA) says that the new card has the paywave feature still and despite my request it can not be turned off. Ive contacted a few banks and they have said the same thing.

The only alternative to a non paywave card is a redi card which does not allow for online transactions.

I want a VISA debit without paywave or a Credit Card without paywave. I dont wnat to pay fees but if this is necessary then so be it.
