Initiate a fireworks ban for all unincorporated areas of Ada County, Idaho for 2017 fire season

The wettest winter and spring anyone can remember has caused vegetation to grow to record levels. There is a permanent ban on fireworks in PARTS of unincorporated Ada County. We ask that it be extended to ALL unincorporated areas of Ada County during the 2017 fire season to keep fire risk at a minimum when conditions are ripe for a major conflagration.  
The photo above is from the Eagle Foothills Fire of 7/28/2010.  It destroyed nearly 5,000 acres.

Ada County Commissioners 200 W Front St. Boise, ID 83702 The attached petition is self-explanatory.  We are requesting a temporary fireworks ban on ALL unincorporated areas of Ada County, Idaho for the 2017 fire season due to extreme fire danger following the exceptionally wet winter and spring we have experienced.
