Stop your Big Government grab of the NC local sales tax

We, the undersigned, as citizens of North Carolina and eligible to vote, express extreme objection to the complete takeover of the NC local sales tax, as described in Senate Bill 369—the so-called “Sales Tax Fairness Act.”

This usurpation of power by the General Assembly would rob a critical level of local control from municipalities and lessen their ability to chart and manage their individual futures as they see fit.

In the strongest of terms, we ask the members of the General Assembly to reject SB 369 and the threat it represents to North Carolina towns and cities.
