Tell the USDA to Investigate University Animal Research Complaints!

Dozens of animal deaths at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign suggest a strong possibility of negligence and other systemic problems. Sadly, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has yet to investigate the most recent complaints against the University.

Animal rights watchdog group Stop Animal Exploitation Now! filed a new complaint to address dozens of recorded animal deaths obtained from internal records. These records indicate that 22 animals have died, and others have become seriously ill, over the past two years. The animals include rams that died during botched surgical labs, pigs that were improperly euthanized, a lamb that died of a drug overdose and pigs and calves that died from infections.

The USDA needs to investigate the University as soon as possible to eliminate practices and negligence that lead to wrongful animal death and suffering. Please sign the petition to urge the USDA to investigate animal research complaints at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign!
