This tiny little baby Xiao Bao, from Jiangsu Province, was brutally attacked by his mother. He received 90 blows from a pair of scissors after biting her while nursing. Little Xiao Bao was found in his yard in a pool of blood by one of his uncles and taken immediately to a hospital where he was treated with more than 100 stitches, mostly to his face, but over all of his tiny body. He had been left for dead. This was attempted murder.
The government is evaluating the mother's mental stability but thus far have found her mentally stable. 90% of metally ill people in eastern china are left untreated. Xiao Bao's mother is not receiving any psychological or medical help because she has been deemed fit and sane, Xiao Bao is the victim and may now be sent back to her without any intervention, a recipe for further disaster.
