Bring Our Police Dispatch Back To North Tonawanda!

- The people of North Tonawanda are suffering slower police response times.

- Police are not able to communicate with other officers.

- Radio transmissions from police are not being heard.

- The current radio system does not cover important areas of North Tonawanda (IE. Degraff Hospital). No service

A few years ago the North Tonawanda police dispatch was moved to Lockport and taken over by the Niagara County Sheriffs Office. Since this move, It has been a constant struggle to provide the people of North Tonawanda with the proper police first response and safety that they deserve. Our police union (NTPBA) has tried everything in our power to come to compromise with the dispatch center and our city officials to improve on these issues. However, despite our best efforts, we have been unable to reach any agreement with the dispatch center or the mayors office. Our citizens and police are still at risk.

What we need now is citizen action. We need you to voice your opinion and help us bring police dispatch back to North Tonawanda. Our citizens deserve quick response times, clear channels for police to communicate on, and we all deserve to feel safe each day. In this current system we are all put at risk,
