Tell Congress: Stop Funding Illegal settlements In The West Bank

Since the creation of the Jewish state of Israel in 1948, the small nation the size of New Jersey has been a place of political turmoil. According to the Oslo accords in 1993, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip are Palestinian land. However, Israel continues to violate this agreement daily by building illegal Jewish settlements in the West Bank. Currently 327,750 Israeli's live illegally in the West Bank. As Americans and as Israel's biggest ally, we have a responsibility to put a stop to these unjust and illegal settlements.

As the world leader and Israel's biggest ally, the United States stands in a difficult position. Even though the U.S condemns Israel's construction of illegal settlements in the West Bank, they still fund it indirectly by giving Israel an annual allowance of 1.8 billion dollars. The United States' inability to stop the construction of illegal settlements has done nothing but escalate hostilities between them and big rivals like Iran.

By signing my petition you are helping solve a problem that has negatively impacted the U.S. By putting a hold on the illegal settlements, we increase our national security and decrease threats from anti-Israel Middle Eastern states. Let's put a stop to this violation of human rights, for our own safety and for the good of the Palestinians.

the issue having to do with illegal Jewish settlements being built in the West Bank. The U.S economic support of Israel, has funded Israel's construction of illegal settlements indirectly.
