Why do I think people should sign? Edgenuity is an absolutely horrible online program that teaches us students nothing. Sitting at the screen listening to a talking head babbling about information that they clearly do not specialize in. Countless mistakes are made in the lesson by the instructor. Plus there is minimal interaction with ACTUAL teachers.
WHY IT HOLDS US BACK
- It slows students down and keeps us from getting other tasks assigned by teachers done
- Edgenuity courses are factored into our grade as a LARGE percentage
- Minimal in-class teaching with the ACTUAL teachers
[We the students also believe that it is used as a tool for teachers to have a break from teaching us "What is the point of attending school if it's just being online ALL DAY?"]
- Too much work for an average 6th, 7th, 8th grade student
To try to put an end to this this petition was put together to enhance our learning experience and try to put an end to this.
