A couple of years ago, my family & I went from park to park trying to find a location to have my grandson's birthday party that had outside plugs because Baily Park was already being used. We went to all the parks in Humboldt, Tn & discovered all outlets had been stripped from every park except Bailey Park & Viking Trail. I am sure that Westside park had outside plugs in 2010 because this is the year we had my son Kane's Memorial Birthday cookout & community event. I am asking that people sign this petition so that some outlets may be restored especially in Westside park, so that encase a person/ people want to have an outing for their community or family that it could be in their community & in a safe distance for children who are walking to these events. The children around here have little to nothing to do now & I believe as tax paying citizens that we should be given an opportunity to have outings not only on the one part of town but also at the other end.
