demand the British government ends cuts to nursery school and schools!!!

Barnet council are proposing to withdraw £200,000 of funding and our school does not receive supplementary funding from the Government like other Nursery schools across the country currently do.

I am extremely concerned about the future of maintained nursery schools in England after March 2020 as no guarantee has been given by government that adequate funding will continue.

Please urge the Government to take action to ensure maintained nursery schools are financially sustainable for the future.
Nursery Schools have been in danger of significant funding cuts which led to three Barnet nursery schools becoming Barnet Early Years Alliance in 2015. We are now facing a situation that will jeopardise their future and inevitably lead to the closure of these outstanding schools that do so much more than provide early education for your child. They support training of the early years workforce and other schools and settings with the development of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

PLEASE TELL OTHERS ABOUT THE SERIOUS IMPLICATIONS FOR NURSERY SCHOOLS EVERYWHERE

All schools in Barnet are facing funding cuts but for Nursery Schools all over the country it is even more serious!
