Demand to stop Ernie Chambers repeal of the Nebraska mountain lion hunt

Sen. Ernie Chambers has introduced a personal agenda bill, LB 671 to repeal the mountain lion hunting season.  The  Nebraska mountain lion hunting season was recently okayed because there is a need for population control. The hunting season is managed by the Nebraska Game and Parks Comission and creates revenue which is used for consevation. The number of Mountain lions in Nebraska has continued to rise in recent years, and with the help of hunters and the NGPC we can be assure that mountain lions will see the benefits of a hunter-harvest relationship just like deer, elk, turkeys and alike. Please oppose LB 671, Thank you.

The number of lions has continued to rise over recent years, and between the help of hunters and the NGPC, we can be assured that mountain lions will see the benefits of a harvest-regulated relationship just like elk, deer, turkeys and alike have seen.
