Help me let South Carolina know...

  1. That our precious children are forced to ride a very UN-SAFE AND UN-RELIABLE SCHOOL BUS EVERYDAY.
  2. Berkeley County is in desperate need of more funding to better their transportation.
  3. We are NOT tolerating this ANY LONGER BECAUSE THE RISK IS WAY TO HIGH!!!

Lets hope someone can help before an accident happens and our babies get hurt.

I'm not willing to take that risk, are you?

As residents of Goose Creek, we pay the appropriate taxes, to provide SAFE and reliable public school transportation. Yet, we are not receiving what we as citizens and parents pay for. The "yellow bus" / "bus 25" is consistently late due to mechanical issues. Our children have been late to school numerous times, and not to mention they have been stranded on the side of the road more times than what's acceptable. Recently, the heat went out on our bus (Yellow Bus / Bus #25) and the windshield defogger was no longer working. As all of our children filled the bus mixed along with the cold rainy weather, the windshield was obviously getting foggy. Our bus driver was forced to wipe the windshield at each bus stop. The fogged windshield became such a saftey concern that the bus driver pulled over and called for another bus to safely carry our children to school. We as parents are concerned and upset that no matter how many calls we make, no one can do anything and another maintenance ticket is made. It's time that we protect our children before a terrible accident takes place. I'm NOT WILLING to RISK that!! Are you???
