Meadowview Estates Nashua, NH: Flag Policy

Recently we received a letter from the association stating violations our unit has been noted for. One of these issues is a violation of the Residency Regulations asking us to remove our Marine Corps flag from the front of the building stating that only the American Flag should be permitted. There are many reasons we believe we should have the right to fly our flag as well.

One of which is that my husband has fought blood and tears for this country in order for us to even have the right to fly the American Flag. He is a former Marine. A Proud Marine. He is proud to have served his country and he should have the right to fly his flag as well. Anybody who has served our country also deserves to their flag as well. There needs to be an exception to this regulation.

Please sign this petition to help us get this rule changed.

Update #15 years ago
After emailing with the association, I have been told that it would require a vote of 66 and two thirds of the membership and a petition from a non owner would not be recognized. Since we rent and do not own it seems we do not have any rights in getting this rule changed. In the meantime, we are allowed to fly our flag and have made an exception to the rule for us.
