Help a Victim of Parental Alienation Receive Professional Intervention

THIS PETITION IS WRITTEN TO BRING A CASE OF SEVERE PARENTAL ALIENATION TO THE ATTENTION OF A TEXAS COURT.  A COURT APPOINTED PSYCHOLOGICAL EXPERT HAS PRESENTED PROOF THAT THIS CHILD IS EXHIBITING EXTREME SYMPTOMS OF PARENTAL ALIENATION.  THIS FORM OF CHILD ABUSE HAS APPALLING SHORT AND LONG-TERM EFFECTS ON THE CHILD, THE TARGETED PARENT, AND EXTENDED FAMILY.  WE ASK THAT THE JUDGES, ATTORNEYS, AND THERAPISTS WIDEN THEIR STRUCTURE OF UNDERSTANDING FOR THE VICTIMS, TO GET AWAY FROM A BLAME-BASED MINDSET, AND TO REALIZE THAT TREATMENT OF THE CHILD AND PARENTS REQUIRES COMMITMENT AND INTERVENTION OVER TIME FOR RESULTS.  WITHOUT MANDATORY LONG-TERM TERAPEUTIC INTERVENTION, THESE FAMILIES, MOST LIKELY, WILL RETURN, REPEATEDLY, TO THE COURTROOMS.

Help raise awareness of this terrible form of Child Abuse!

Do your part to get your local courts and community aware of this problem!

A family member writes for me, since I am three and one-half years of age.  I cannot know or see my half brother because his father hates our mother.  How better to hurt the one who left you, than to take their child and set him/her against the other parent.

A court-appointed-expert has produced proof of Parental Alienation, child abuse, to the Courts in early 2009.  After a ten-year vicious custody battle, the abuser has filed a complaint against the expert with the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (TSBEP), making eight allegations against the expert.  The expert has withdrawn from the case and is now in a legal battle with the child abuser.  After four months, the court has merely asked the abuser to start therapy again.  The abuser would not bring the child to regular therapy, so the process went on for two years prior to the experts report.  The court has not held the abuser responsible for the added burden of psychological and legal expenses.  At this time, 4/14/2010, the courts have ruled that my brother should go to reintroduction therapy, but he has not been taken to the new appointed therapist.

A Parental Alienator has a threefold purpose in isolating a child from their family and psychological services. His first purpose is to sever the parent-child bond.  Secondly, to stop the targeted parent and/or the psychologist from gathering evidence of alienation against him or her.  Third and finally, the alienator wants to keep the other parent from exposing the child to the innocence of the targeted parent and any false allegations.  The child, who is severely alienated, can be prepped to sound very convincing to anyone who is not aware of the real evidence or what goes on behind the scenes; therefore, a professional must be used in the therapeutic process.

I am asking the courts to issue an order stating that my brother must have professional intervention in order to reverse the brainwashing caused by his father.  I am asking you to sign this petition so that our mother's lawyer can present it to the court.  I am hoping that this case will help set precedence in Texas and the USA.

Parental alienation is a phenomenon that occurs mostly during child custody disputes. One parent in a vicious attempt to gain control will program his/her child into believing that the other parent, the targeted parent, is not a good person. The alienation generally extends to the targeted parent's family as well.

Without mandatory long-term therapeutic intervention, these families, most likely, will return, repeatedly, to the courtrooms.  My mother has been involved with the courts for over ten years.

Divorce and custody litigation can be frightening. Regrettably, children undergo thought reform or mild brainwashing during the divorce process. Despite how hard some couples try, disapproval of each other comes out; children are exceedingly insightful. Unfortunately, Parental alienation syndrome is much more serious than an occasional insult. It involves a systematic vilification by one parent of the other parent, brainwashing the child with the sole purpose to alienate the child from the other parent.

In May 2008, an Ontario judge ruled that a boy who was severely brainwashed into hating his mother must receive therapy to deprogram him from parental alienation.  Mr. Justice James Turnbull ordered the boy into the custody of his mother. He said that the child needed prompt professional intervention to reverse the father's effort s to program his mind adversely toward his mother and, in all likelihood, to women in general.

There would have been, almost certainly, momentous problems experienced by this young man in the future, if the court had not interceded.  Long-term effects may include considerable personal guilt for his part in the rejection of his mother, resentment towards women, and dysfunctional interactions and relationships with women, Judge Turnbull said.

The judge utterly declined to take the boy's belief on the therapy into account, saying that the young man cannot exercise free discretion in expressing his views because of the pressure his father has had on him.

Luckily, for this thirteen-year-old boy, the Ontario Superior Court issued an order stating the boy must have professional intervention in order to reverse the brainwashing.  I want the same order for my brother.  I want to be able to know my brother and I want my brother to know the mother he once loved so much, again.

Thank you for taking the time to read this letter and for signing my petition.  I am hoping that our action makes a difference for all children.

Again, thank you!
