Screen Michael Jackson's film 'This Is It' at the Apollo Theater

According to a Sony staffer directly linked with the distribution of Michael Jackson's 'This Is It' film release, the Apollo Theater management decided not to host screenings of his film.  There are no indications that the Apollo plans to schedule any future screenings of 'This Is It.'

The Apollo Theater is where Michael Jackson and his brothers were discovered on amateur night when he was at the precious young age of nine years old in 1967.

Everyone needs to email the Apollo Theater to protest against the management's decision of not hosting screenings of his final theatrical opus at the theater where is lifelong career was born.  Request a screening of 'This Is It' is held by the anniversary of his death on June 25th.

We the undersigned request a screening of 'This Is It' at the Apollo Theater in New York City where Michael Jackson's lifelong career and cultural legacy was discovered.  We are disappointed to learn, according to a Sony staffer directly involved with the distribution of Michael Jackson's final film in which he appears right before his untimely death, that the Apollo Theater declined an offer to film 'This Is It'.  Cultural and artistic preservationists, as well has Michael Jackson's fans and admirers, believe this was a gross error on management's decision.  Please reverse that decision my hosting screenings of 'This Is It' on the same day that Michael Jackson's star is laid on the "Walk of Fame" that the Apollo Theater is scheduled to host sometime next year or host screenings of the film no later than the anniversary of his death on June 25, 2010.
Thank you for your attention to this request.  We are confident that the supporters of the Apollo Theater and fans of Michael Jackson will support such an event that honors Michael Jackson's cultural and artistic contributions as the greatest entertainer that ever lived.
Sincerely,
Preservationists, fans, and supporters of the entertainer Michael Jackson
