Terrible atrocities are happening at the Cecil County SPCA which is funded with taxpayer dollars. Little has been done to alleviate the suffering occurring daily at the hands of the inept director and her staff; however, with more publicity I hope we can bring this reign of terror to an end.
We believe the director and her staff should be prosecuted criminally and forced to make full restitution to the taxpayers of Maryland.

All animals deserve the right to be treated with care, concern & compassion. I DO NOT want my hard earned tax dollars used to support a facility where animals are tortured. Throwing them in incinerators alive, shooting them & breaking their bones is something I can't even fathom. What kind of monsters are we allowing to run "our" shelters?!?!

I am truly shocked and horrified to read about the abuse, torture, and cruelty these animals were subjected to, by people who were being paid to take care of them. This is a shelter, for God’s sake, the management and staff are supposed to be caring and helping these animals, but are instead punching, kicking and shooting them. What has happened to this country? How evil can people be? Everyone involved in this incredible abuse, cruelty and torture deserves the death penalty. Sadly, the courts will not give them that, but my hope is they will be shot by someone, just like they did with cats and dogs. The courts must ensure these people will be imprisoned for as long as possible, strip all their assets and never allow them anywhere near an animal again. Remove all the existing staff immediately and bring in people that will care and help these animals. I am so disgusted by all of this. It breaks my heart..

i cannot believe this is happening so close to home for me!!! it is ABSOLUTELY HORRID!! i volunteer at a local shelter and cant begin to imagine anyone even thinking of leveling accusations like this. It MUST be taken seriously and investigated fully, and if wrongdoing is found.... these people should be prosecuted and jailed for every single law broken. or worse...

I am at a loss for words at this whole situation!! The SPCA where I live just took an AWESOME director and gave her the boot for no more reason than they were going in a different direction and these people ar allowed to treat living beings this way!! SHAME ON ANYONE THAT ALLOWS THIS!!! The director that took our directors place is incompitant and a MESS!! She doesn't care for the animals!! She cares about the TITLE!! If this is the direction these places are going in then I will not be helping them ANYMORE!!!

i do believe the folks that is operating the ccspca should all be replaced . they also should be charged for abuse and i'am sure their are more crimes that should be placed against them. i do not understand why the state has not done any thing as of this time how many others must suffer in their care. yes their is alot of stray animals and etc. but my god do not be cruel do the humane thing . spay , nuture find good loving homes . oh please arrest those sick sob that are being so cruel. it makes u sick.
