Demand that Sawré Muybu Be Officially Demarcated As An Indigenous Reserve

Sawré Muybu cannot be officially demarcated as an indigenous reserve without the Ministry of Justice of Brazil evaluating the proposal and approving for FUNAI to publish the official demarcation of Sawré Muybu in Brazil's Federal Registry. The Munduruku people of Sawré Muybu are continually fighting to have their land reserved for them as it rightfully should be. Now Brazil is planning to build five hydroelectric dams on their land, essentially consuming and destroying it.

This Petition demands that the Ministry of Justice of Brazil evaluate the proposal and approve for FUNAI to publish the official demarcation of Sawré Muybu in Brazil's Federal Registry.
