The Bluegrass Movement: Our communities are being destroyed, our jobs are being lost, our livelihoods are being torn apart. Thousands of lives are being affected because of overbearing EPA regulations. Up to one million jobs across our nation depend on the mining industry to survive. These jobs are being lost, with no job replacement programs in place. We, the Bluegrass Movement, are sick and tired of the Obama Administration, and the EPA, taking everything we have worked our lives for. A war on coal, is a war on Kentucky, and a vote agaisnt it, is a vote against our nation.
We the people of the Bluegrass State of Kentucky, are organizing a movement to overturn the economically destroying regualtions from the EPA and the Obama Administration. These regulations are becoming devasting to our local communities. Thousands of citizens of Kentucky have lossed, or in the process of losing their jobs. We are a state largely dependent on the mining industry. From miners, to barge workers, to power plant workers, suppy company workers, truck drivers, to small business owners. We are a state made strong by the mining industry, that thrives on jobs related to it. Our local county roads, and our infrastucture is helped to be paid for by royalties from coal. The Coal Severance Fund, helps contribute largley to our city, state, and county projects. Simply saying, a vote against coal, is a vote agaisnt Kentucky. We are a state of this nation. We are a major contributor to the success of this nation. Last, we are tired of being tossed to the side, and watching our families stuggle, and suffer, from regulations passed by the EPA, and the Obama Administration, with no regard on the lives they are destroying.
