We want to feel safe where we live!

I have lived on lakefront road owned by killam properties for 4 going on 5 yrs now with no issues what so ever. I have started dating my girlfriend 5 months ago and i started getting complaints from a resident in the building i live in about her going out side on the bottom stair away from the building to smoke. well i got a notice in my door from tara hood ( lakefront road property manager) about the complaints of the smoke going in the other tenents apartment and that we are not to be smoking near the building... I have called n confronted her about said issues, as i am being harrassed n threatened by the guy complaining about smoke... We know it is because we are a gay couple and he just doesnt like that as their is other smokers that smoke out there closer to the building then we do even n they have had 0 complaints, so i explained to tara why hes doing it all of a sudden after 4 yrs n how he gets in mine and the gfs face ect she then proceeded to attack me over the phone, stating we are not allowed to smoke on property near windows n doors ect we have to be 15 feet away mean while we been 17 ft away the whole time, i explain we are further away from the door then what the man has been saying and how my son is in bed at night i refuse to go that far from the door as i am paranoid to go to far from the building she then told me i need to quit smoking then or wake him up at say 11 pm at night? thats a no go!. she then threatened to call bylaw on me due to this and i am not the smoker either, she then proceeded to say shes bringing me to the tendency board over $54 when i told her she was going to get it from the beggining also told me that when she files the case shes gonna make me pay the 31.50 that they charge her for it! I told her shed get i was going to get it into her but i cant pull money out my butt n that money dont just grow on trees so i cant get it to her that fast n she told me i better figure out my finacial situation or shes going to deal with it the NEXT day i get a letter in my door stating i have to come up with $54 by the very NEXT day or shes going to issue me a 15 day eviction notice... the issue is tara hood of lakefront killam property apartments does not know how to speak to her tendents nor staff as i have had many complaints from staff that work for her as well, people have been leaving lakefront due to her nasty attitude towards others people have quit working for her due to this as well. I would like to see her get retrained or replace staff to some one who has respect for others and knows how to speak to people properly!
