Stop Use of Islamaphobia in Law Enforcement Publications

Since the rise of Islamaphobia in 2015 Muslim people have suffered catastrophic damages at the hands of their fellow citizens similar to the start of the Civil War. History has a way of repeating itself if we are not careful. With knowledge and our ability to use Social Media, we can spread information at a rapid rate to stop and expose the behavior used in the past when Social Media didn't exist.  A Key Example of incitement of Islamaphobia took place November 23, 2015 through a Press Release given by Police Sergeant Terry Anderson. Sergeant Anderson from the sexual assault division made a publication in regard to an arrest of a high profile chiropractor in the area. This doctor has been rated as the top for 7 years in a row in his area and the release of information was quite eye opening as the doctor was presented with an ethnic and religious name instead of his own. Dr. Darius Bunyad has no middle name. His identity was published as Daryoush "Darius" Mohammad Bunyad. The police were trying to sell a story that Dr. Bunyad was a fraud so they presented him as a fraudulent individual by placing his name in quotes. On November 25, 2015 Deputy District Attorney creates another press release giving details of what she expects people to tell her in order to establish a pattern. The police are not supposed to give out details of the pattern they are trying to establish to the public because it is highly suggestive. DA Nanney neglected her opportunity to correct Sergeant Anderson's prior publication mistake of Daryoush "Darius" Mohammad Bunyad with the true and factually correct name, Darius Bunyad. On December 15, 2015 Deputy District Attorney release a publication with the Petaluma Patch indicating a trial to suspend the doctor's license would happen on Friday and no such date of a hearing is available or it never happened. Deputy DA Nanney also left out the word "alleged" for further psychological manipulation of the audience by saying "we initially had two alleged victims, but we now have six femal victims". The use of such words from a Deputy DA is suggestive to the public of a plea agreement establishment or a conviction has taken place or she would not call anyone a victim without due process of the law. Deputy DA Nanney continues to push the name Daryoush "Darius" Mohammad Bunyad as Dr. Bunyad's identity. Deputy DA Nanney drops out of the case after this press release publication yet continues, through connivance, to keep the case moving to trial in hopes of a plea agreement. On January 27, 2016 the next Deputy DA Robert Waner steps into the case on a publication with Fugitive Watch releases Dr. Bunyad's name this time as Daryoush "Darius" Mohammad Bunyada and continues to release heavy detail in the same suggestive manner again. With each publication, these rogue law enforcement officials were able to attain more accusers with further disregard of the law and the legal process. Trial started February 14, 2017 and this time Dr. Bunyad's name was released as Darius Bunyad, not as Daryoush "Darius" Mohammad Bunyad or Daryoush "Darius" Mohammad Bunyada. The media changed the way they released Dr. Bunyad's name to its correct form during trial, but failed to do so after his arrest. This abuse of the media from law enforcement or collusion must be exposed and recognized. Accuracy with release of information is a requirement of official media publications. Dr. Bunyad was licensed by the state of California. The state of California requires fingerprinting and background checks prior to licensure so identifying one of their licensees is as easy as identifying any Attorney or doctor so there is no acceptable excuse or reasoning from the media on their part of collusion.

We are asking for your signatures in order to help us demand Federal Prosecution against these rogue Law Enforcemenr Officials. Santa Rosa Police Sergeant Terry Anderson and Officer Christopher Diaz along with Deputy District Attorneys Barbara Nanney and Robert Waner willfully deceived the public and must be removed from their positions and brought to justice. An investigation into the competence and or involvement of District Attorney Jill Ravich is also demanded to ensure public safety and official responsibility.
