Abdul Rahman Ma'ath Thafir al Amri is reported to have killed himself in custody. Never charged with a crime or allowed an attorney. There are countless crimes just like this this that occur every year. President Obama said that he was going to close Guantanamo. But he didn't. There are prisoners on a hunger strike there and they are being force fed, which is considered as a form of torture by the UN. Every body in the world deserves to have a trial for every crime. Guantanamo is unconstitutional. This has to stop now. Call the white house on monday over and over at (202) 456-1111 and tell whoever answers to close guantanamo. Obama lied. Now the people must raise up.
Dear Mr. Obama,
Torture. Something that should never happen to anyone throughout their lives. But it happens every day to detainees at Guantanamo bay who were never given a trial. Some of them may even be innocent. But that doesn't matter to the feds. But it matters to us. So we have to stop it. Shut down Guantanamo as soon as you possibly can so these people, no matter what they did or didn't do, no matter their religion, don't have to go through the torture and pain
