Please Stop Destroying Our Planets Coral Reef's without good cause!

I believe it is pretty obvious that mankind, via one country or group or another is going to set themselves to extracting the energy reserves in those disputed waters. Personally, I don't much care which groups engage in such activities, and I am not petitioning for a fair split among all the contenders, though I believe that would be the best course of action. What I am petitioning for is that the parties is this dispute, remember that conserving our environment needs to be foremost in consideration! Those waters have potential to benifit mankind in more ways than just petroleum extraction. The health of our oceans including those reefs is important to all of mankind not just those disputing the right to thier ownership, the health of the planet is a concern for everyone on the planet! Being an American, perhaps I have very little ground to stand on after what my country did to Bikini Atoll, but two wrongs do not make a right. Please respect, conserve and protect our environment which will benifit all of us, just as energy reserves benifit mankind! Please don't be careless, but be Thoughful!!
