Demand Justice for Victims of Chicago Police

Laquan McDonald, an unarmed teenager who was shot and killed by Chicago police in 2014, was not the first victim of a police department that is under intense scrutiny. In fact, there have been so many other unexplained deaths that many families who lost loved ones to Chicago police violence are demanding full inquiries. It's fairly obvious that many Chicago residents have no confidence in their police to behave fairly or even legally. Please join with me in asking the Chicago Independent Police Review Authority to investigate the other shootings at the request of family members.

To the Chicago Police Department:

We the undersigned are appalled at the shooting of unarmed teen Laquan McDonald. But it appears that his family is not the only one that has lost a loved one at the hands of Chicago police. Numerous families are now seeing the investigation into Laquan's murder as an opportunity for obtaining justice. They wish to have the deaths of their family members, shot by the Chicago police, investigated. Please investigate these deaths as requested.
