Tell the Clay County, West Virginia Board of Education to Fire the Teacher That Had Students Drown Birds

A 10th-grade teacher at Clay County High School in Clay, WV caught birds then put the live birds in ziplock baggies and put them in the school's freezer. She later retrieved the still alive birds from the freezer then had her students drown them in buckets of alcohol. The BOE knows about the situation and is doing its best to cover this up. Don't let this animal cruelty go unpunished!

Update: She was sent home today...not reprimanded or terminated...simply sent home.

The teacher was sent home last Friday and the principal told local news that they were "currently investigating." Several members of local media attempted calling the head of the BOE, but have received no callbacks. Let me also add to the commenter who wasn't brave enough to put their name that I do live in Clay County, it is not slander because it happened and you also stated and I quote "You can not drown a live bird that's already dead." The keyword here is LIVE...
