On the highways of India, It is a pretty common scene that bulls and oxen are left abandoned on the roads. Since the dairy farms do not have any use of the bulls and oxen, they follow this tradition to leave the poor animal infront of Lord Shiva's temple.
The bulls and oxen, since are abandoned, lurk around in search of food and at times get frustrated. The people normally the vegetable vendors to protect their veggies beat them with sticks. When these lost animals roam around, they normally get hit by the vehicles. They either die or are severly injured without any care.
What we demand is to enforce some law that restricts abandoning of bulls, oxen and old cows and also to provide some kind of enclosure in every state for the already abandoned ones which is quite possible since there are alot of bare land which can be used.
