Agree to Amend the Second Amendment to reflect the new era of modern weaponry by defining any weapon capable of mass execution as a weapon of mass destruction and therefore unlawful for private or individual ownership.

The Founding Fathers had the good sense to add amendments to their less than perfect original-lets do them proud and debate and then fix this "enabler" of unintended consequences.

Newtown Amendment, to The 2nd Amendment

The Second Amendment (Amendment II) to the United States Constitution is the part of the United States Bill of Rights that protects the right of the people to keep and bear arms.

The Newton Amendment, Amend to EXCLUDE All Assault weapons from being declared 'arms' (defined... from solitary arms or weapons)

Require registered Owners of existing Assault weapons to be held liable for any injury or death by any such weapon (class action)

The Newtown Conn. assault on Friday December 14th 2012, occurred because we have allowed deadly assault weapons to be considered as "guns". Unleashing such a pervasive mass murder weapon into the American public should be ended. 1) Assault weapons should be banned. 2) Owners should be registered and held liable insurance and responsible for injury to ANYONE who is wounded or killed by ANY such weapon as a Class Action Law Suite.
