Shikellamy principal fired for protecting students

In a bizarre story Ernie jackson, a retired army ranger and High school principal has been discharged for disarming two teenagers wielding pellet guns and threatening school children and other people at not one, but two different schools.other charges against jackson include alleged illegal locker searches and not getting approval for new carpet that was donated to the school.Mr jackson has been a principal at Shikellamy for two years. In that time he became a fixture at all sporting events and pssa test scores improved dramatically. There is no evidence of any wrongdoing on Mr Jackson's part, in fact it appears he may be the victim of a vendetta by superintendent patrick kelley, who has just returned from a 20 day suspension for a d.u.i in New York. While it is a travesty Mr Jackson has been fired and not allowed back on school property or attend any sporting events, the story gets worse.Mr Jackson isn't worried about himself, he's worried about his wife of 34 years who has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer and has been undergoing treatment since march of 2013.The Jacksons rely on the medical insurance provided by the school district for her treatment.Mr jackson is an outstanding role model who is loved by the students and respected by the teachers and certainly doesn't deserve to be the victim of a
Vendetta by a jealous superintendent abusing his authoriy.I IMPLORE you to not only sign this petition, but share it with everyone you know to help Mr Jackson get back to work doing the job he loves so much.THANK YOU!!!!
Update #19 years ago
The latest with mr. jackson is his lawyer has requested that mr. kelley produce formal charges against mr. Jackson.A hearing has been scheduled for December 22nd @5:00pm in the high school auditorium where the public is invited to attend.I recommend that anyone who has children that attend Shikellamy high school attend this public hearing.we do not need a superintendent that puts his pride and jealousy ahead of your child's education!
