Thank Organization for Saving Dogs from Euthanasia

"In Kalamazoo, Michigan, an animal organization is trying to cut down on the unnecessary euthanasia of hundreds of animals around the United States every week. The Animal Rescue Project in Michigan is a volunteer-based organization that is trying its best to stop this from occurring. Some of the volunteers became part of this organization after seeing the horrible conditions of animals left at shelters and pounds. They have traveled all around the United States and Mexico to fulfill their goal to help save animals.

Sadly, hundreds of animals are euthanized weekly in the state of Kentucky because shelters are extremely overcrowded. They have an abundance of animals, but not nearly enough room. According to Fox News, the state is unable to keep that many animals in its shelters, so it is forced to euthanize about 200 dogs and cats every week. On this rescue mission, the Animal Rescue Project found the animals locked away in low-lit rooms with no ventilation. Some of the dogs had parasites, worms, and other serious health problems.

The organization’s main priority is to restore the dogs and cats back to good health, so they are ready for adoption. Please thank the group for saving the animals from being euthanized."
