Demand a much longer statute of limitation for child sex crime victims in California and other state

I am wanting people to sign my petition to get a higher limit or no limit on the Statute of Limitation Law/rules in the state of California, for both child molestation and all kinds of illegal sexual acts performed against minors under the age of 18. I am disgusted that where i reside in the U.K that the Statute of Limitations is available until the victim's 50th birthday, and also this is available in The Commonwealth, but its not available in certain states of America. Why are there some states allowed a no limit on this statute but not in others? I want this to change as i myself have been through sexual assault and rape as a child, and i want this to be raised especially in California, i have heard and read many children famous and non famous have been affected by sexual abuse and rape, and they should be able to prosecute offenders no matter what age they are at when they report the crime. why should American children feel they have to suffer in silence in some states but not in others! surely this is a very flawed and uneducated law?
