REINSTATE CHIEF WOBIG TO PROCTOR PD!

The citizens of the city of Proctor and surrounding communities that claim Proctor as "their own" were shocked, saddened and outraged at the news that the beloved Police Chief Walter Wobig was abruptly discharged from duty as a result of a non-renewed contract. Good leadership keeps a community together, great leadership is what we had with Chief Wobig. Please sign the petition to - if he'll have us back - have the city council reinstate Chief Wobig to the City of Proctor Police Department.

Update #37 years ago
This petition has been an incredible showing of support for the work Chief Wobig did for our community. Clearly his leadership served well beyond the boundaries of the Proctor city limits. This alone stands as a STRONG MESSAGE to city councilors that the community expects better communication and transparency when it comes to decisions of this magnitude. The mayor is aware this petition exists. Thank you.

Thank you for signing the petition to reinstate Chief Wobig! Keep sharing this with our citizens & friends of Proctor so we can have 100's of signatures by March 6th, the next city council meeting. While this petition does not guarantee reinstatement, the councilors who voted for the non-renewal need to know what the public thinks & provide some explanation as to why & how it was reached. If nothing else, this petition is becoming a touching tribute to our Chief Wobig.
