An overwhelming majority of Canadians now believe our government is not working the way it should. Most now see a government dominated by competing special interests, tied up in partisan gridlock and unable to solve the problems our nation faces, and to empower other organizations and individuals to use this platform to engage their own citizens and constituencies to make their voice heard.

             Proclamation of Citizens and the People of Canada

We, Citizens and the People of Canada  believe government is not working the way it should; serving special interests rather than the common good, getting stuck in legislative gridlock and failing to act with common sense; whereas, in accordance with “The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR)”: Recognition of the inherent dignity and of the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family is the foundation of our freedom, our justice and our peace in the world, especially children and youth.

We, Citizens and the People of Canada  believe we need a fundamentally new way to give the common sense of the people a greater voice in government; for the promotion and protection of universal respect for human dignity, integrity and observance of human rights and fundamental freedoms, civil rights, constitutional rights, for our full enjoyment of socioeconomic and cultural prosperity.

We, Citizens and the People of Canada  believe that that if the people had a greater voice, government would be more likely to break through gridlock, find common ground and serve the common good of everyone;

Therefore; We,  Citizens and the People of Canada  venerate the memories and sacrifices of our Ancestors, and unite in spirit of friendship, fraternity and solidarity, in unity, upon the principles of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms; the Constitution of Canada's Charter of Rights and Constitution Act, 1982.:

“Whereas Canada is founded upon principles that recognize the supremacy of God and the rule of law", thereinafter;

Under the umbrella of The National Coalition Party of Canada (NCPC), we send a powerful message to Government, that the duty of the Government is to serve the Best Interests of the People, so that all Canadians can get better informed and more effectively communicate their views to their own candidates and elected representatives; making Government more transparent in our democratic societies towards political and economic challenges affecting our lives.

At the National Coalition Party of Canada (NCPC), we are committed to creating the most open, participatory and transparent government and this petitioning platform is a key part of that initiative.
