The Harris Cattle Ranch is the largest ranch on the United States' west coast. It supplies the entire In-N-Out Burger chain as well as many grocery stores and restaurants. They produce over 150,000,000 pounds of beef per year, resulting in the slaughter of hundreds of cattle per day. At any given time, there are over 100,000 cattle cramped into an almost 1 square mile area. It is easy to imagine the horrible conditions this would create, but one doesn't have to imagine. This feces-layered piece of land rests right next to the I-5 between San Francisco and Los Angeles, where everyone can see it, and the smell migrates for miles.
As much as I hated driving by this ranch, I am glad that it is where it is. I feel like most people would not be able to eat a burger after driving by this monstrosity. Which is exactly why I think that this ranch should get as much exposure as possible. We can no longer support this kind of dispicable behavior.
Keep up the great work. Look what you've accomplished!
