Tell Politician Employees Shouldn't Be Fired For Sexual Orientation!

Oklahoma Representative James Lankford said he is against laws that outlaw workplace discrimination based on sexual orientation because he believes that "being gay is a choice".

In 29 states it is still legal for individuals to be fired because of their sexual orientation, including his state of Oklahoma. Many LGBT workers have been fired consequently and have faced discrimination at work.

Please tell Rep. James Lankford that employees shouldn't be fired solely because of their sexual orientation. He is contributing to the stalling of progress for the LGBT community.

This is wrong, this is discrimination, and this needs to stop. Tell Rep. Lankford that being gay does not mean workplace discrimination!

We are writing to you, Representative James Lankford, to say that employees should not be allowed to be fired solely because of their sexual orientation.

29 states still allow employers to fire their employees based on their sexual orientation, including your state of Oklahoma, and many members of the LGBT community have been fired or faced discrimination at work.

This is wrong and it needs to stop. Please do not contribute to the stalling of progress for the LGBT community.
